SUBSIDISED COUNSELLING

The counsellors are members of the NZ Association of Counsellors and attend regular supervision.
Our service is subsidised; a fee of $20 per session, and up to 6 sessions per client.
Your circumstances could mean if more counselling sessions are required you might be eligible to apply through WINZ.
The Counsellors specialise in issues of grief, relationships, sexual abuse, addictions, change of life direction, coping with life's stresses and anxieties. Counselling is offered to women, youth and families either in individual sessions or family/group sessions.
All sessions are confidential between you and your counsellor unless there is serious concern for your safety or the safety of others. You would be consulted first if the need arises.

FAMILY SUPPORT

The Family Support Service operates from a strengths based model. Facilitation with/for client to engage other services and programs in support of changes the client has identified and is committed to making for the betterment of lifestyle, family life and community participation. Assess the inherent strengths of a client or family then builds on them. Uses families personal strengths to aid in recovery and empowerment. Offering assistance to clients in reaching their identified goals. The Family Support Service is a free services available to

Community Social Worker

The Helensville Women & Family Centre are pleased to introduce Tracey Roberts, who has taken up the role of Community Social Worker.
Tracey is a qualified and registered Social Worker who has extensive experience working with government and non-government organisations. She offers wealth of knowledge on HWFC services, local organisations and wider supports and networks.
The service offers: Confidential consultation about areas of concern that require support, Tracey will work with all ages and needs, Tracey will assist with connecting you to relevant supports and services.
